Welding Process Development and Evaluation System

To ensure the quality of welding projects, based on the current application of computer technology in the welding field, this paper analyzes the characteristics of welding process design and develops a welding process formulation and evaluation system. This system is software developed using Access databases and Visual Basic 6.0 as the platform. The system establishes multiple databases, such as those for base materials, welding materials, welding process parameters, welding process qualification, and auxiliary databases. Users can query welding procedure specifications and welding process qualification reports through three main modules: query, maintenance, and printing. Simultaneously, the system can design, evaluate, and provide feedback on welding processes, ultimately achieving the optimal design. When applied in welding plants, this system enables rapid welding process design.
